About our Founder
I am Varsha, founder of SriJeevanam, a mother of two, with 14 years of corporate experience and a background in International Business.
SriJeevanam began with a very personal concern. As a mother, I often found myself thinking about the kind of world we are leaving behind for our children. The more I reflected, the more it felt like we were moving away from balance, endless consumption without realizing the actual cost.
While growing up, I was deeply influenced by our cultural roots, the core message I got from all the celebrations and rituals – we are not separate from nature, but an integral part of it. In India, the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space (Panch Tatva)—have long been revered as the foundation of life, shaping how we live, celebrate, and sustain ourselves.
Somewhere along the way, that connection has weakened. SriJeevanam is an attempt to restore the missing piece, that balance-

Why we exist

Our everyday products are crafted from waste-derived natural materials for those who believe their values should travel with them — quietly, consciously, and elegantly.
For us conscious living is not a trend — it is a way of being.
For some, it comes from the principle of Ahimsa.
For others, from a deeper awareness of how our choices affect the planet and the lives around us.
Whatever the path, the intention remains the same: to take only what we truly need and leave the world a little lighter than we found it.
Here, sustainability goes beyond labels like cruelty-free, ethical, or eco-friendly.
Because true values cannot live inside labels.
They are rooted in the culture and reflects in our choices. For us , It reflects in the materials we choose, the way we create, and the impact we leave behind.
That is why our products are created to honour the delicate balance between life and the nature that sustains it.
Our material
At SriJeevanam, materials are chosen with intention and reflects our values.
We work with plant-based alternatives, jute, cotton, hemp, and other natural fibres—materials that are both cruelty-free and mindful of the planet.
With the growing demand for vegan alternatives, many Vegan alternatives today rely heavily on synthetic plastics often replacing animal harm with environmental compromise.
Our approach bridges this gap.
We use plant-based, agricultural waste–derived materials available within India—transforming waste (which otherwise will go to Landfill or being burnt) into products without harming animals or the environment.
But we do not see this as the final answer.
The search for truly bio-based, low-impact materials is still evolving—and so are we. As new innovations emerge, we remain committed to learning, evaluating, and adopting materials that align with our values.
We follow the principles of circularity, have been classified as “circularity champion” with an “Outstanding” score (5) for maintaining circular principles by Climate KIC, Europe’s leading climate innovation agency and community.

At SriJeevanam, we believe that our everyday choices shape the world we live in.
For us, the relationship between humans and nature has always been deep.
Our traditions reflected this in daily rituals, practices, and value systems. From celebrating seasons to revering rivers and mountains, even our agricultural rhythms were guided by this connection.
The same belief is woven into everything we create and into the way we work.
For us, sustainability is not about perfection—it is about being aware, responsible, and willing to evolve with every step we take. We strive to honour the delicate balance between innovation while restoring the human bond with nature.
We have divided our belief system into following RISE value system.

How we create
At SriJeevanam, creation begins with a simple intent—
to use what already exists, rather than take more from the planet.
We work with plant-based and waste-derived materials, Our Vegan and cruelty free materials are carefully chosen, while reducing dependence on both animal resources and plastic-heavy alternatives. Each material is selected considering its afterlife Impact on environment.
We are equally thoughtful about our packaging, with a conscious effort to remain plastic-free.
Our products are packed in jute pouches, placed in reusable boxes, accompanied by seed paper thank-you cards, and wrapped in cotton bags—designed to be reused, not discarded.
We understand that sustainability must be practical and thats why our products are tested not only in controlled environments, but also in real-life conditions through humidity, friction, and strength to understand their integrity over time. All products should not have direct exposure to extreme conditions like prolonged exposure to sunlight, Water, Humidity.
Myth: All vegan materials are plastic-based.
Fact: While many alternatives rely on synthetic polymers, we choose materials derived from repurposed agri-waste. Please refer to material composition against each product.
